Leah Argot, LGMFT

Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist

Leah works with couples and individuals using a trauma-informed, emotionally attuned approach. She helps clients slow down and understand the deeper emotions and attachment needs that shape how they relate to themselves and to others.

Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Leah helps clients recognize the relational “dance,” or cycle, they can become caught in. One person reaches while the other pulls away; one becomes frustrated while the other becomes defensive. Over time, these patterns can leave people feeling stuck, frustrated, and disconnected, even when what they are truly longing for is closeness and reassurance.

In the therapy room, Leah helps clients slow this dance down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and find new ways of responding that foster greater safety, honesty, and connection.

At the heart of Leah’s work is the belief that everyone wants to feel accepted, safe, and loved. When clients are able to step out of the cycles that keep them stuck, they can begin to find their way back to one another—and learn to move through their relationships with greater freedom, connection, and trust.
